The marketing merry go round.


Just by example - ARC now have the Ref 6 pre which is naturally an upgrade from the Ref 5SE which was of course a substantial improvement over the Ref 5 etc.
The mags which are there to support the industry will no doubt agree.
On the other hand why not build a decent unit from scratch like for example, Nagra who still sell the same CD player for the last eight + years where any updates are just incorporated into the new builds with no fanfare.
Serious developments are thin on the ground these days. The rest is just bullshit marketing says I.
