I´m looking to get a 3.5 to Din cable to plug the iPod and maybe iPad into a vinyl-only Naim system. I know the sound quality will be no great shakes, this would be just for a convenient occasional background music option when people are visiting for example.
I read a couple of things which worried me, one that using the 3.5 jack means volume problems (i.e.: not enough volume), and second that prolonged iPod play through the system can result in tweeter damage (???). Anyone concur / refute these?
And one other thing, connecting a iPod using its 30 pin connector is going to be better than the 3.5 jack but is it possible to buy such a cable - 30 pin to 5 pin din?
