My little monitors have a bit of a port chuff roughly below 70Hz. Not a massive deal on 90% of the music I play, but with dub techno it can become an issue... I've been pondering adding a sub to the system to handle frequencies below this.
If I was to run the sub off the 2nd pre outs and change the input caps on my ncc amps to 0.1uf would that be an effective high pass filter for the smaller monitors? Using an online calc 0.1uf with 24kR gives me 66Hz.
