Sudden cartridge suspension collapse
Anyone experienced a sudden collapse of their cart/stylus suspension? I've been fitting an old Goldring 2100 to a new Nima and all seemed well: alignment, VTA VTF and bias all fine, then when setting azimuth I noticed the body just sinking to the mat. The cart is more than 5 years old but still, I thought if anything were to go wrong with the suspension it would be a gradual process. Anything else it might be? My first time fitting an arm so there are plenty of things I might have done wrong.
