Acoustica (Martin's :)) TPR - deadbugged...
I want something I can mount vertically - so I deadbugged one, without the ground plane This took far longer than it should have...
The LED's light up OK with my only bench PSU currently, it can only provide just over 6v at input, so output is not regulated yet, but all looks OK.
This is the 5v 7805 replacement - whether it can survive without a heatsink remains to be seen; even though I am powering the 7220 via a dedicated PSU the original heatsinked 7805 is still warm without this load - we'll see
I still have a -5v one to do, as well as +/- 15v items - for these I am just going to use resistors to set the voltage initially....got to be better the 78/79-15s, no?
Stupid question time - for the -5v version using LM337s, I need to reverse the LEDs, right?
Anywayup, photos;
Cheers, Richard
