What would you pay for a gardener ?

Depends on the job, is it a project with a fixed end point or is it general maintenance.

Will they be providing expensive equipment eg long reach hedge trimmers, lawn mowers, will they take away any waste eg trimmings to shred and dispose of them.

Will you or a member of your family be working with the gardener to direct them to areas of work.

I would much prefer to pay £20 per hour for flexibility, provide expensive equipment, so I do not have to buy or rent kit.
