How to measure Fs of a loudspeaker drive unit
I want to measure by how much the Fs of a pair of Tannoy drivers has risen compared to what it would have been when they left the factory. I've never done this before and have only started reading about the method of measuring T/S parameters, which seems very precise and finicky. If all I'm wanting is a ballpark figure for Fs, are there any short cuts I can take? e.g. can I leave the drivers mounted in their cabinets? I'm assuming disconnecting the crossovers is essential? Apologies for the basic questions, again this is very new to me...
