Specialized M3 S-Works Mountain bike swap to Brompton
I wonder if anyone can help. I have had a Specialised S-Works M3 mountain bike for many years now and it is in good cosmetic condition and in good working order. However, I have hankering for a Brompton fold-up bike (or 2 so that both my wife and I have one).
First of all, I cannot seem to find out anything about my bike and what its worth - it is so old (vintage?) that it does not really come up on any searches. Apparently Indurain used to use one of these bikes but then he probably used 100s of different bikes in his time.
Secondly, any suggestions on where to get a good second hand Brompton would be appreciated (I have obviously already had a look at ebay) - any suggestions on the best model to get? Also, I am quite heavily built - will I look silly on a Brompton and will it be up to the job of carrying/supporting me.
Any advice or thoughts would be most welcome.
