Exposure "New Classics" XXIII 23 Preamplifier and XVIII 28 Dual Mono Power Amplifier

These amps were bought second hand, but have been well cared for and used lightly (about 2-4 hours per week at most) whilst in my father's posession. Although it is recommended to keep them switched on for the best sound (ala naim) they have been kept them off between use and just allow time for warming up before listening to maximize component longevity. Always used with official exposure speaker cable.

Flagship models during the 2010s2/3010s2 era but unlike the rest of the line up these are based on John Farlowe's designs, posessing classic timing and musicality in droves - the 23 pre is a tweaked 21 with remote capability, and the 28 dual mono is based up on the super 18 with true mono layout / dual power supplies. Exposure has been our favourite hifi brand for many years now... The midrange presentation in particular is superb and beneath the plain casing the build quality is always first rate.

The XXIII / XXVIII models rarely appear on the market and I've seen them sell for up to £1,400 a pair in recent years. Having sold my own pair last year, I have suggested an asking price of £995 - a third of the original retail cost (£2,890). Collection from South Wales preffered, but can ship within UK via original boxes providing payment is made via bank transfer / cheque prior to dispatch. Original remote control (hardly used) also included. If delivery is required, I willl not post the mains leads to avoid potential damage in transit.

These amps can attract a lot of interest at auction but we would prefer to deal directly for a cheaper price and avoid potential hassle / expensive fees.
