Some time ago the night meter got "stuck" ie it did not advance. The meter was replaced and the electrician said at the time that I might be able to argue for a refund of electricity incorrectly supplied at the day rate.
However, in fact the supplier has assumed (it appears) that I was not paying for electricity supplied at night and has made a (to my mind unrealistic) estimate of what we might have used and sent me a huge bill.
I am disputing naturally. I also have a photo of the meter in its stuck position.
Anyone know what is more likely, that I was paying at the day rate, or not paying at all at night?
Tim
