What can I do with damaged iPhone 5s

Few days back my iPhone 5s fell off bedside cabinet and went straight into a glass of water - da da!

Switched it off straight a way and dried it out in rice in a warm area.

Thanks to one of my sons I now have a replacement 5s phone, but I'm not sure what to do with the old one - it won't turn on and screen is completely blank.

Want to ensure that I don't compromise my security by passing this on to another.
