Valves and Shahinian Arc's
Does anyone know the lowest powered integrated valve amp that would work driving the Arc's with a reasonable volume that does not cost a small fortune or is it a non starter ?
I have recently heard a Puresound integrated amplifier albeit into a pair of
new German (I cannot remember the name now) very efficient and it sounded fabulous. I currently use a Krell 250a power amp and Audio Research LS2B pre amp to drive them but having heard the Puresound giving such a natural and dare I say (cliche coming up!) organic sound I was captivated, any advice please.
