Paisley Underground scene - any other fans?

There weren't a lot of bands in this scene, but many of them really hit the sweet spot for me back in the early-to-mid 80s. My favorites then - and still - include:

Rain Parade
Dream Syndicate
The Three O'Clock
The Long Ryders
The Plimsouls
True West
Naked Prey

and to a lesser extent, Lumerians and Mazzy Star. Two other prominent bands, The Bangles and The Pandoras, were both all-girl bands, and I never got into either of them.

I think I embraced the airy, peppy, poppy, jingle-jangle after being raised on a steady diet of southern boogie bands in high school. Some of these albums are still among my favorites, as are those by bands that weren't Paisley Underground, but sounded similar.
