Paradise MC Phono Stage No. 16. Excellent condition.
However, as I've been saying in various threads, I'm downsizing a little, and this means sacrificing this superb MC phono stage for the sake of greater domestic balance. I get to keep my 301 TT - but a cut-down rack is going to win me many brownie points.
Anyway, if you don't know what this is - go and find out!
Or, trust my summary - the best phono stage I've heard by some margin at any price point. Currently configured for my Lyra Kleos, but I also have the replacement parts to spec for a Linn Troika. I understand that this is easy to slot these in and out, and the bits for any MC can be obtained.
I bought it for the truly bargain price of £1400 just before Christmas (it's Simon's no cost cut spec!). It consists of four Naim-like shoeboxes - two for the power supplies, and two for the pre-amps. These are, I believe, the exact same size as the Naim shoe-box type components. They essentially take up two "standard" sized shelves. They have bespoke faceplates that announce their name and purpose, and look fabulous.
They've not moved since Simon installed them - so obviously "as new". I don't have a pic yet, but will try to sort out.
I think this has to be collection only. I can dem one way or another, but currently not on any kit of note!
I suppose despite the ludicrous bargain it already was, I'll ask a little less than I paid.
£1200.
