Early Castle Warwick Speakers. Ebony.
Continuing with the clear out of some of the cheaper equipment I have here is a pair of Castle Warwick speakers, probably my first ever pair of "proper" hifi speakers.
These are beautifully made at the original premises in Skipton and have matching serial numbers.

I've just dug them out now and will clean them up later, I think they'll come up brilliantly as they still have that deep shine.
In very good condition but I've just checked over them and there is one small ding on one speaker, it'll be hidden as it's on a rear edge, I also noticed one grill has a couple of ladders, this happened in storage. Nonetheless still a very sharp looking set and in no way scruffy. Drivers and tweeters are mint.
Just fired them up too on the end of a big Naim amp. Sound great as always.
These will embarrass quite a few modern pretenders I promise you.
A lovely sounding speaker. £60
Pick up brew and demo near Wigan.
Thanks
