New MM cart

The 2M blue is actually a really good cartridge BUT, it's very sensitive to loading... It actually works fine into my Linn kairn (although I have a black now which is much better still)... An arkless phono stage with the appropriate loading would really help get it singing.

I'm not exactly sure of the best loading as for me, it just worked but Tony L had his quad 34 modded to suit the 2M carts, ask him... In fact it'd be pretty easy to change a couple of components on the Naim phono cards to get the loading right so I'd check that out first, the cost of parts would be less than a couple of pounds.

Mind you, three hours a day for a year, it might be coming to the end of its life... I'd suggest a bronze or a black but at that rate of usage, it'd prove quite costly so you have to weigh up whether it's worth the cost... Try getting the loading right before making any other changes though.
