[FS] Cheap system - Ariston TT, AT110e, NAD amp, AR speakers

A cheap, complete vinyl compendium of 1980s vintage, to suit a son/daughter or vinyl newbie on a tight budget. Yours for £100 collected from Oxted, Surrey.

Ariston Pro 1200 TT - Ariston's attempt to make a belt drive look like a Technics DD. This one has been serviced (bearing oil, new belt, components check). The sound is surprisingly not too bad at all, probably because of the heavy MDF base which keeps things nice and solid.

Audio Technica AT110e - with new replacement stylus sits on the end of the arm. Sounds very clear, as most ATs do, which balances well with the house sound of the amp.

NAD 3020 integrated amp with phono stage - the budget audiophile workhorse needs no introduction. There is a bit broken off the bottom left corner but it is working well and sounds good with the AT / Ariston combination.

AR Red Box speakers - AR's attempt to make the AR18 look more acceptable to 80s tastes (why?). Both tweeters have the cones pushed in but function ok. I'm including these as a freebie.

Speaker cable is 2 x 3 meters of flat copper thingy from Gale.

Let's block ads! (Why?)
