Tangospinner for Rega RP3?
I'm pondering on swapping the OE sub-platter of my RP3 for a Tangospinner. I've noticed that the Rega sub-platter now has castellations round the rim, rather than the level rim of my old Planar 3, presumably this is to improve isolation of the glass platter. As I'm still quite happy with my TT, using a Nagaoka MP110 cartridge, I'm wondering if a TS sub-platter will still give a worthwhile sonic improvement? Have any Fishers done this mod to an RP3, please?
Were the funds available, I'd probably go for a GT, but they aren't, regrettably.
