Not so little Acorns

In order to keep myself honest I thought I'd document my build of these ESLs.
Here's a pic of one half of one of the panels. The stators are bonded to the white plastic grid. Each panel is about 45cm x 95 cm and there are 2 panels mounted one above t'other for each speaker:

I'm going to run them naked ( no pets or rug rats to worry about) so that light can come through the gaps in the stators. I don't like the white plastic though so my first job is to mask off the stators, key the plastic and then spay paint it. I'm going to use metallic finish automotive paint.
