Integrated B4/NJ Phono build

vendredi 25 mars 2016

I have finally got round to building this project. Previously my B4 was housed in a Naim Nac 42 case , but now it's at home in a new Modushop case.
Alongside it is a NJ phono board to take Naim 322 or 323 cards. Both are fed by their own transformers . It has 3 line level inputs plus the phono input . I am ready to wire in all the inputs but need a little advice on the best way to do it.
On my test rig I had the the ground from the turntable running to the signal/power ground on the NJ phono board. Is this the way to do it now, or should I take it to the signal/power ground on the B4?.
Furthermore, would there be any benefit from linking the B4 and NJ Phono board signal/power grounds together. I am using a Elma 2 pole six way switch to do the switching duties.
