[IC] Fair price for mid-2011 MacBook Air 11.6-inch 1.6GHz i5 4GB RAM 128GB SSD

I'm planning on upgrading my laptop next month and will be selling my current one.

It's a mid-2011 MacBook Air 11.6-inch 1.6GHz i5 4GB RAM 128GB SSD, bought new in August 2011 from the Apple Store for £999.00.

Full working order and excellent condition for its age (it has had a Speck-style hard case, film screen protector and keyboard protector fitted since new). Complete with original charger and box.

I've checked eBay sold listings and the prices vary a lot(!), hence the reason for my post.

What would be considered a fair price for the above machine, and where would you advise I sell it? (Obviously if a PFM'r was interested then that would be ideal, but failing that, is eBay a risk worth taking for such an item?)
