[FS/SWAP] McIntosh MC48

Very nice McIntosh MC48 for sale or swap. Will be shipped in an original box with remote, manual and schematics. It is a very good pre with a zillion possible uses:
- excellent MM / MC on board (adjustable from the remote)
- world class DAC-implementation (tops out at 192/24: USB, COAX, Spdif)
- AV pass through + tape loop
- 2 power amp outputs (single ended or balanced)
- Lots of line in options

It was bought s/h from a Danish dealer. I cannot warrant using it only in my study and I have no use for the fine MC/MM-phono input in the livingroom. And last not least, the Missus disapproves of the knobs and bling of the McIntosh ...

So I am after what translates into 4000€ (I will do the maths) for this shipped to the UK from Denmark. PayPal gift or bank transfer (all expenses paid for by you).

OR

Swap for:
- simpler (and unassuming) preamp of similar quality and condition (whether solid state or valve).
- Integrated amp (Not Naim, however)
- Very good standmounts (Not Focal, Not Scansonic (Raidho - yessir), Not Audiovector, Not ELAC but all other quality standmounts will be considered).
