Stacking Quad 57s information needed please

I am shortly making a frame to house a pair of quad 57s

Could anyone tell me the correct posistion to mount them in the frame

Is It Bottom to bottom so connections are shorter I have seen a few images on Internet with them mounted in the frame both ways

Am I right in suggesting it doesn't matter which way they go?
