[WTD] Hi Fi rack

I'm really struggling to find a rack which my girlfriend thinks looks nice (it's her house). She'd like something "which looks like furniture" rather than a typical metal or wooden frame with glass shelves.

But I'm worried that a home made MDF 'box' won't be great isolation wise for my components.

Thoughts on the above? Any other recommendations? Anyone have anything interesting for sale?
