Tandberg 2075 rear phono connections

I have a Tandberg 2075 which was brought back to life by Jez Arkless of this parish last year. The phono connections on the back are very close together and using quality cables as you do, it is not possible to get a good connection. Are there any phono cables with smaller plugs that can fit closely together ?

I suppose I could use the 5 pin din connections. Are they the same as size as the Naim ones ?
