Musical Fidelity just introduced all new Encore 225 ‘All in One’ music streaming system including CD player, network player, headphone amplifier and acting as integrated amplifier.
The Encore 225 will be release at the Bristol Show next weekend, The main objective was that the Encore felt traditional to use. It has fixed physical control points. A volume knob that is always that. A select knob that is only that. Clear, logical and obvious CD control buttons. The rest is simply intuitive.
Retailing for £3999, the Musical Fidelity Encore 225 has 225 watts per channel and a huge range of facilities; 3 analogue inputs, 4 digital inputs, 4 USB A connections (one of which has high current capacity for charging phones and tablets), network connectivity, high quality headphone amplifier, fixed and variable line level outputs as well as a digital output. The Encore has an inbuilt CD player and upgradeable 1TB hard disk drive for storage – enough for over 2500 CDs.
