I never imagined seeing myself with one but ended up getting a small amount of money off the all black sports version last week and must say it's fantastic. Ok fully waterproofed would have been nice (next version perhaps), but not having to constantly pull my phone from my pocket to realise I've received junk mail, or a text that doesn't warrant a reply is great. My phone is a very busy one so I highly recommend it. If you don't use your phone a lot it is probably of no use to you whatsoever.
After purchasing it occurred to me apple are likely to announce more products in March so knowing my luck an apple watch 2 will be one of them but that said, I can't really fault it. They're certainly not for everyone but for the convenience factor alone I am thrilled with it. My main watch is now confined to its box.
Thumbs up to apple for what is a great product. I am not sure what the other offerings are like, as an iPhone user this was probably the best option for me. It's great for the gym and even controls my music at home and on the move, again, without having to dig the phone out.
FWIW, i've been getting just about two days out of the battery which is better than I hoped for. I appreciate this is pretty crap but no doubt they will look to better this with iWatch 2.
On a final note I really hope apple release a retina MBA soon with more horsepower.
