Sound excellent, and in my system very flat with nothing missing or over emphasized. Some great reviews on the net and a real bargain - barely used, and unlikely to be fully burnt in if you believe that is required.

Sound excellent, in my system emphasised the mids and not at the expense of the lower frequencies. Very detailed, good presence. I think these are really well suited to live music and real instruments / voices. Also, unlikely to have had enough time in use to be burnt in, and again incredible reviews.

Amperex Bugle Boy matched pair 6DJ8 / ECC88's
Sound very good, but in my system missing some of the lower frequencies which was made apparent by swapping in the voskhods right after. That said, if you speakers aren't trying to make below 30hz noises then you'll probably be delighted by them. Sound very detailed and very well balanced, just perhaps not best suited for drum and bass. Also, barely run in and probably the highest regard in the most reviews I came across.

All prices are a minimum of £10 less than I paid and I just followed loads of reviews. Got bored rolling, and went for some silly money Telenfunkens. Bizarrely, they sound most like the Voskhods which are the cheapest here, but then I hear it's very system dependant so it's hard to truly know if my comments mean anything to your system. Happy to answer whatever Q's you may have tho
