[FREE] Printer (there's a catch)

We have a Canon Pixma iP4200 that was working fine until last week when the black text print started to stutter. The four colours from the smaller tanks were working fine. I removed the print head and in a misguided effort to clean it I have destroyed it. This has been the catalyst for purchase of a new, wireless unit.

I'm reluctant to send this to landfill because otherwise it works perfectly fine and environmentally it grates to just chuck it.

I'm sure the box is in the loft and it comes complete with the CD printing gizmo (which I never used) and possibly a few ink cartridges (because they're bound to be different to what replaces it).

N.B. YOU WILL NEED TO ACQUIRE A REPLACEMENT PRINT HEAD TO MAKE THIS WORK. They aren't cheap for ordinary mortals but you might have one around or 'know somebody'.

You can collect this from S81 postcode or arrange to have it couriered. Just PM your proposed arrangements.
