Designing a listening room / building.

I am starting to design a dedicated listening room / building , in that it will be separate from the main house.

As such I am starting with a completely blank canvas.

Size will be 20ft x 16 ft [can be varied ,larger or smaller] , brick built , concrete floor.

Would like the speakers to fire down the long dimension.

Where to have the windows and door is the first concern . Windows behind the speakers or behind the listening position , or in the side walls. Is the position going to make much difference.

I have already had it suggested using soundboard plasterboard for the ceiling and lining the walls. Would that make sense.

Any ideas / thoughts gladly welcome.
