Had an unexpecting Jaw dropping, wife commenting change to my system.
I am a bit flabbergasted, so much more dynamics to the music. Bass more powerful, massive kicks from the bass drum, goes louder without going mushy.
How?
Well, my banana plugs to my speakers were very cruddy, all the plating worn off years ago, and looking a bit tarnished.
I got a pair of genuine Naim speaker/amp plugs off the bay for a fiver (lucky bid).
Soldered them up, not expecting much, but holy crap, it sounds like a new system. I liked it before, but this is a different league.
You know when something has improved as there's cds all over the floor as I relisten to everthing again.
If this is snake oil, I'm a believer!
