Anyone heard Vincent or Unison CD players?

In my search for a possible valve based CD player I've come across Unison Research and Vincent CD players. Anyone owned or heard them? I'm interested in your feedback on their strengths/drawbacks and anything you've considered them alongside for comparison

I'll be looking at second hand models at say the CD-S8 end of the Vincent range (1000-1500 pounds s/h)

At the moment I have a Consonance Droplet on my list or a valve modded Oppo BDP-95
