2016 Global Teacher Prize.
I heard about this from a friend and just thought I'd highlight it here as we see so much cynicism and greed in the world today, and I think it's heartening to remember that there are still amazing people out there trying to be a force for good.
The ten candidates listed are all trying to help to educate people from all different walks of life in their own unique ways and often under tough circumstances:
The winner is to be announced early next month and will receive $1M.
